Unlike nearly every other LCD flat panel display from Samsung or anybody else, this model has NO OPTION for wall mounting, no standard VESA or nonstandard holes in the rear enclosure at all, and no accessory available to support wall or swing-arm mounting. Pretty dumb design for a top-of-the-line manufacturer like Samsung.

The only reason I am slamming this rating is to catch people’s attention. It’s a great monitor/TV but it DOES NOT MOUNT TO THE WALL! I bought one at my nearby Cosco. Even Cosco assumed it was wall mountable. It was displayed on the TV aisle, not the computer monitor aisle, and they had wall mount bracket arms for sale right next to it. Samsung made a big mistake not making their smaller “Touch of Color” monitors wall mountable. They should not assume that everyone will set it on a desk. I wanted to mount mine to the wall in my master bathroom suite. I still will, just not this one.

I WOULD START BY SAY TILL TODAY I LOVED SAMSUNG PRODUCTS I OWN SEVERAL OF THERE ITEMS. THAT BEING SAID THIS IS THE LAST SAMSUNG ITEM I WILL EVER PURCHASE! TO START WITH THE TV COMES WITH NO OWNER MANUEL. I CONTACTED SAMSUNG REGARDING THIS ISSUE I WAS TOLD THERE GOING GREEN SO NO MORE OWNERS MANUEL. HOWEVER IF I REALLY NEED AN OWNERS MANUEL I CAN BUY ONE. I DONT KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT ANY ELECTRONIC ITEM I OWN THAT COSTED MORE THAN FIFTY DOLLARS I STILL FAVE THE OWNERS MANUEL. IF THEY WANT TO GO GREEN THATS FINE PRINT IT ON RECYCLED PAPPER THEN. I HAVE MADE SEVERAL PHONE CALLS TO SAMSUNG THEY ARE WELL USELESS I AM STILL WAITING FOR A SUPERVISOR TO RETURN MY CALL ITS BEEN TWO DAYS NOW. I WILL SAY THIS IT SEEMS CUSTOMER SERVICE AT SAMSUNG IS A THING OF THE PAST

I haven’t bought it yet, but I have an opinion based on the pretty pictures. I give this TV three funny bunnies out of five for its amazing WOW quality – whatever that is. The screen looks like it could display video, like a TV does. That’s a plus. On the other hand, the TV costs more than a tickle-me-elmo which provides much more entertainment for a fraction of the cost. All in all, I say rent it from blockbuster to see how you like it. Get the achievements and send it back. I already got 5000gp, making me the bestest gamer in the world. If you haven’t heard of me then I suggest searching for me in the phonebook, or talk to anyone on the street. Ask for 3L173GamZORofDEATH. ttyl.

This problem falls squarely on Samsung’s shoulders; not Amazon’s. Flat out. . . simply put. . . this TV is nowhere near 22″ wide, which is how it bills itself. We took it out of the box and didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. It is so small that it doesn’t work for adults, but would be perfect it you wanted to start your toddler out with a 1080p LCD HDTV screen. I honestly can’t review the TV because we are packing it up for my first-ever return to Amazon (after eight years of devoted shopping with them). BTW, I did end up deciding that laughter was the appropriate response, despite the fact that Samsung says everywhere on it’s packaging that it is a 22″ TV. At its widest point (and that is not screen size BTW), it is 20. 5″ wide. Screen size is only a touch more than 17″ wide. This might be a great monitor for your PC, but I would not buy it if you want even a reasonably sized TV screen.
